Heading Back Home

So, after relaxing for a week in Ushuaia we set out the other day and made the journey through the last dirt roads Baby will see on this trip.  We arrived in Porvenir and ferried over the Straight of Magellan to Punta Renas. We are leaving Puerto Natales today on the ferry to Puerto Montt. A special thanks to the Navimag Ferry company for sponsoring us and our little baby with first class accomodations for the 4 day boat ride North. We will arrive in Santiago next week, put Baby in a box and send her home! Tyler and I will follow by air on April 25th.

Hey guys, it’s Daniele, one of the chicks from Punta Arenas. Just though I’d say hi, and drop us a line when you’re in Santiago-we’ll show you a nigh ton the town, maybe even kidnap a bunch of Chileans, and take them with us.

    PS-Cliff bars? pretty please?

  9. Helen in Chile Says:

I’d say take up Rodrigo about kayaking around this side of the Andes and maybe (I hope) you’re off my map due to Daniele’s invitation for a night on the town?
Can’t believe you completed the whole trip within a reasonable time frame based on your estimated arrival to the southern end of the western hemisphere. I’ve traveled some of this territory S. and know there are often many delays - both welcome and not so much. Bravo! Now, just get home safely.
