The Snake River

“Lunch Counter Rapid” is ALWAYS a classic. Surf culture has come to Wyoming because of this one spot sport of surfing on the river. You can jump off the rock and surf straight out onto the wave.

The water was going big and the weather was beautiful. We spent the afternoon paddling with the Jackson Hole Kids Club and waiting in line behind the surfers.
